Postpartum Doula
The Support You Deserve
Welcome!
Postpartum needs vary from family to family, but here are some of the ways I support families:
-
physical and emotional support of the mother during her recovery after childbirth
-
listen and help process the birth story
-
breastfeeding support, including pumping, milk storage, and bottle feeding education
-
demonstrate infant soothing techniques and general infant care (diapering, bathing, swaddling, etc)
-
empower parents with evidence-based information and provide recommendations for local resources and services as needed
-
organization of nursery space and recommend products to suit the family's particular needs
-
does the baby's laundry and other light housekeeping (washing dishes/bottles, running errands, grocery shopping, etc)
-
I hold space for you. I respect your parenting choices and provide expert guidance as you navigate your decisions
-
